We are seeking a dynamic Solutions Engineer with expertise in presenting and selling Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to enterprise and government clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in pre-sales engineering and can understand customer needs while conveying the business value of IAM technologies. In this role, you will engage with prospects and customers, providing product demonstrations, deployment guidance, and technical support to the sales team. A consultative approach is essential; you will ask insightful questions to identify technical requirements and present tailored solutions. Your combination of technical acumen and business insight will establish you as a trusted advisor. You will differentiate BIO-Key’s solutions in a competitive landscape by engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and decision-makers in mid- to large-sized accounts.

Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on all BIO-key security solutions.
  • Qualify and Present Product Demonstrations: Assess customer needs, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and manage proof of concepts/values effectively, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Develop Technical Content: Create technical resources to guide customers on implementing use cases and best practices for new technologies.
  • Gather Customer Feedback: Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Train Staff and Partners: Conduct independent training sessions on our solutions and value proposition for BIO-key staff and partners.
  • Travel Requirements: Some travel to tradeshows and customer locations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in a cybersecurity vendor role within the US market.
  • IAM Solutions: Experience presenting Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is preferred.
  • Solutions Engineering: Proven experience in solutions engineering with complex software solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, adept at engaging both business and technical leaders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively through product demos, presentations, and discussions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly respond to changing conditions and develop practical solutions to obstacles.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and utilize available resources to support business objectives.
