BIO-key is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth of our Identity and Access Management solutions. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to expand our market presence, generate leads, and enhance brand recognition within the cybersecurity and IAM industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan aligned with the company's business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Identify market opportunities and trends to inform strategic decisions. 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team as well as guide third-party consultants, including content creators, designers, and other marketing professionals.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging professional growth and development.

Brand Management

  • Cultivate and maintain a strong brand presence in the market, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing channels and materials.

  • Develop brand strategies that enhance brand equity and drive market differentiation.

Content Strategy

  • Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos, to educate and engage our target audience.

  • Ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategy and effectively communicates our value proposition.

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and paid advertising, to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.

  • Continuously optimize digital strategies to improve performance and ROI.

Product Positioning

  • Collaborate with product management to refine product positioning and messaging, addressing customer pain points and aligning with industry trends.

  • Ensure product messaging is clear, compelling, and differentiates us from competitors.

Market Research

  • Conduct thorough market research to maintain an in-depth understanding of the Identity and Access Management market, products, and service offerings.

  • Analyze competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

Lead Generation

  • Implement effective lead generation strategies, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads to the sales team.

  • Work closely with sales to align marketing and sales efforts for maximum impact.

Public Relations

  • Manage relationships with industry analysts, influencers, media outlets, and partners to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

  • Develop and execute PR strategies that support overall marketing goals.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize data and analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  • Make data-driven decisions to continuously improve marketing performance and achieve business objectives.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to

  • maximize ROI.

  • Monitor and report on-budget performance, making adjustments as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies in the software industry, targeting a highly technical audience within large organizations.

  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management solutions or related cybersecurity products.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.

  • Creative storyteller with a passion for crafting compelling messaging.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.

  • Passion for measurement, metrics, and continuous improvement across the organization.

  • Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on achieving business goals.
